When I'm bored I have this weird habit of wanting to learn new things, like my poi venture from last year. Yes I still do poi and I'm getting back into it after a long break, but I've had this guitar since I was like 9. I finally learned how to play notes like a month ago (not specific notes just how to hold down frets) aaaaand yesterday I got bored. Guess who knows how to play the first rift of smoke on the water? This chiiiick. So yeah boredom strikes and I don't know how long it'll be until I get back to writing, but hey at least I can finally say I'm learning how to play an instrument.

It's something I've been considering for a while. I don't go on here nearly as often, and there are a lot of projects on here I've abandoned or forgotten about. I've only dabbled in the idea and I'm not sure if I'll actually leave Deviant Art or not. I may switch to a new account where I can upload more recent art, and of course more of the bigger projects I've been thinking of doing. If it comes to that I'll post another Journal with updates for any followers who've actually stuck around this long.
Help looking for a drawing tablet!
So my budget is about $150 and I'm trying to get a good drawing tablet. Not anything super fancy just something pressure sensitive that works well. I don't know much about drawing tablets so I was hoping that some of my wonderful watchers would own one already and be able to get me some insight. I'm looking for something easy to learn, doesn't have to be ridiculously large, but I don't want the smallest thing out there. Hot keys are optional, I've used a couple tablets with them, but they are not a must. Pleeease give me your input. Thank you.
Theoretic Interstellar Travel
I'm not sure if many of my watchers are experienced in theoretical physics or not but I've been thinking a lot about time travel and interstellar travel lately and I have a few questions that may either serve to blow your mind or may allow me to have a few questions answered. Note that some of this may be flawed, and I am very open to new knowledge so please do help me figure out this dilemma.

The happy idiot
I think too much. If I sit down with myself and start to think I realize how ignorant people are. How little they understand about the world around them. My generation among the few who've come after it don't want to understand the world around them. They completely ignore the fundamental questions of who am I or why am I here. I've met maybe 4 or 5 other people who truly sit down and ask the philosophical questions that expand the mind. The rest seem obsessed with sex drugs, and completely avoiding an education that will further them.
I'm not saying I'm better than them, I never have been and I never will be. In fact I almost envy them. I h
