It took Dib 20 minutes longer than usual to get to his house, but it seemed much longer than even that. Each step had been torture since pretty much every human was staring at the high alien; even though half of them looked much weirder.
Dib opened the door to the Membrane household then tugged the alien inside. He finally relieved Zim of the trench coat wrapped around his head after he'd closed the door. He sighed in relief that had been much harder than he'd expected. The human walked over to the couch to sit down, completely content with letting Zim do whatever until he wasn't high anymore.
"Where are the snacks?!" Zim yelled right before Dib could sit down.
Dib let out another sigh, though this time it was more aggravated. "They're in the kitchen." He replied gently.
"Can we watch a MOVIE?!" Zim asked suddenly becoming very hyper once more.
what do you want to watch?" Dib asked, rubbing at his temples agitatedly. He felt like he was babysitting a 5 year old.
"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuhm." Zim sounded, drawing out the noise as he rubbed at his chin in thought. "Oh oh oh, I know!" He shouted jumping up and down. "The one with the big headed lady that's all like 'bring me the pig!'" He yelled loudly.
Dib was slightly puzzled before he realized that the alien was talking about the new Alice in Wonderland. He was perfectly okay with it; in fact he was pretty sure that the talking rabbit was really possessed. "Okay, I have it so we can watch it. Do you want to make popcorn? Oh, wait that's a bad idea you'd probably burn it."
"Zim will not burn the porn of copping." He yelled loudly, not realizing that his mix up had been rather noticeable. "I shall make it and prove that I will not burn it!" The alien screamed before marching rather dizzily off into the kitchen.
Dib held back a small laugh, it was probably better not to argue with the alien anyway. He went back to looking for the movie and found it easily seeing as Gaz had rearranged everything electronic to her liking
which was in alphabetical order. He popped the movie in then sat down as the FBI warning flashed onto the screen, staying on for an exceedingly long time that still wasn't long enough to actually read the whole thing unless you were super human.
Zim stepped back into the room holding two separate bowls of popcorn. He sat down with them, before shrieking at the FBI warning. "THEY'VE INFILTRATED OUR BASES, DUCK COVER DUCK COVER DUCK AND FUDGING COVER AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Amazingly he set down the bowls of popcorn before running around in terror.
Dib stood up, catching the alien in an awkward hug before asking, "What the hell is wrong with you
other than the obvious?"
"The FBI they wants to take over my bases!" He flailed his arms before quickly settling down and nuzzling his face against Dib's chest. His antennae went lax as he got comfortable; he'd completely forgotten the FBI "threat".
Dib was confused, and he quickly took the alien back to the couch to sit him down. He then picked up the closest popcorn bowl to him before fast forwarding to the movie. Okay the drugs were definably affecting the alien's judgment.
The alien's antennae shot up when the contact was lost and he made a pouty face before snatching up his bowl of popcorn and chomping down on it noisily.
They both sat quietly through the first 5 minutes or so of the movie munching on their popcorn separately before Dib suddenly hurled his popcorn at the TV letting out a loud scream. Zim soon joined in and they were both freaking out over nothing in particular. The ecstacy Zim had snuck into Dib's popcorn was taking effect.
"THERE'S RAINBOWS EVERYWHERE!!!!" Dib screamed batting at the air in panic, "THEY'RE EVERYWHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE!!!!!"
"I KNOOOOOOOOOOW!!!" Zim screamed back flailing his arms to keep away the advancing rainbows.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" They both screamed in unison before getting up and running in circles.
"SHUT UP DOWN THERE!" Gaz screamed from upstairs. That shut both of them up and they looked upward in terror.
"We've agitated the purple haired hyuuuuuman." Zim said in a hushed voice.
"Yeah, we should go somewhere else, maybe the rainbows won't be there." Dib replied looking around fearfully.
"Yeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaah." Zim drew out the syllable, "but where?"
"My room?" Dib asked glancing over at the alien, whose antennae were currently twitching violently.
"Suuuuuuuuuuuuure, what could go wrong?" Zim replied grinning.
